Veterinarians
Michael B. Lennon, VMD, PhD
Dr. Lennon graduated Magna Cum Laude from Widener University in 1972, earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Temple Medical School, and completed his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude in 1981. He started working part-time at Nashoba Valley Veterinary Hospital that same year while serving as a Captain inthe US Army at Fort Devens, MA. Following his realease from active duty in 1984, he joined Dr. Damitz full time and also started the large animal practice. He was called back to actice duty in 1991 during Desert Storm and served in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. Called back to active duty after 9/11, he served two tours in Afghanistan with Army Special Forces. He retired from the Army in 1996 and now devotes full time to veterinary practice.
Craig M. Smith, VMD
Dr. Smith received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and then received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He joined nashoba Valley Veterinary Hospital in 1993 and became a partner in 1999. He lives in Groton with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include mountain biking, softball, hockey and coaching youth soccer.
Sarah Tryjankowski, DVM
Dr. Tryjankowski grew up in Holmdel, New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. After working in the computer industry for five years, she decided to become a veterinarian. She graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Her interestd include hiking with her dogs. She lives with her husband Will and their three dogs (Chief, Nikita, and Moxi) and a cat named Annie Bobs.
